Remove Moisture • Prevent Mold
It’s that Simple.
Pioneering the multi-family industry with
the first IN Wall / ON Wall dehumidifier
optional built-in condensate pump
The ENERGY STAR® certified IW-25-4 IN Wall Dehumidifier or ON Wall Dehumidifier system removes excess moisture to reduce the risks associated with mold growth. Specifically designed for lowering relative humidity in multi-family housing, the IW-25 has proved beneficial in a range of indoor living spaces. A successful humidity control strategy will lower relative humidity levels below 60% to proactively prevent mold growth. The most effective and efficient way to improve Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and prevent mold growth is with supplemental dehumidification.
QUIET | SLEEK | MODERN
The IW-25-4 Mold Defender features a slimmer design for versatile installation. The IN Wall dehumidifier recesses directly IN 2 x 4 or 2 x 6 walls, between studs spaced 16” on center. An exterior sleeve is available for semi-recessed installations. The On Wall Dehumidifier was designed for direct wall mounting on a variety of surfaces including drywall, CMU block, masonry, concrete, stucco, and more. Designed for everyday use the IW-25 can remove over 25 pints of moisture per day in spaces up to 1,500 square feet. The perfect solution to hands-free dehumidification in apartments, homes, basements, garages and more. The IW-25 can drain directly into a hub drain or other plumbing source, and is the first IN Wall / ON Wall dehumidifier with a built-in optional condensate pump – say goodbye to those annoying reservoir tanks. Additional features of this modern dehumidifier include LED light for simplified maintenance, enhanced coils improve the strength and longevity, easily accessed washable MERV-8 air filter, and alternate drain and power routing. Moisture Control Effects Indoor Air Comfort
Home comfort is important to everyone. As humans we strive to come home from a day of stress and work to unwind, relax and play within the comforts of our own space. Thermal temperatures play a huge role in the comfort of a home; our body feels most comfortable when the heat produced equals the heat lost. Thermal comfort is achieved when air temperature, humidity and air movement are in proper balance. Humans are sensitive to humidity, since our skin relies on the air to release moisture. We sweat in order to cool our bodies, if the air is at a high relative humidity sweat will not evaporate into the air. When moisture is unable to leave our skin we feel hotter. Maintaining proper indoor moisture levels will improve the comfort but will also help to prevent health hazards and mold growth as well as protect the longevity of your property.
The Right Size for Maximum Efficiency
On average a family of four produces over 25 pints of water a day through cooking, cleaning, bathing, perspiring and even breathing. In order to maximize indoor air quality an escape plan for moisture must exist. In the past, excess water has been able to escape through air flow, air conditioning and ventilation. As construction techniques evolve to enhance comfort and efficiency, building envelopes become tighter and it is more difficult for moisture to escape. To properly dehumidify a space the most important factors to consider are the size of the area to be dehumidified and the moisture conditions in the space before dehumidification. Choosing the right size for supplemental dehumidification will maximize energy efficiency, save space, and produce less noise and heat. The IW-25 in wall dehumidifier and on wall dehumidifier installs easily to remove 25-30 PPD (pints per day) of moisture, at AHAM conditions (80°F/ 60% R.H.)* and runs quietly at 45 dBA.**

Our Team is available to answer your questions and address any concerns.
The Innovative Dehumidifier Systems team is passionate about controlling moisture and improving Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Excessive moisture and high humidity can cause health issues and lead to mold growth. After years of experience in the multifamily industry, Developer and General Contractor, Brian Smith, designed a dehumidifier unit solely for the purpose of solving the high humidity challenges he faced in his own properties. Innovative Dehumidifier Systems was developed to provide a wall mounted supplemental dehumidification system that efficiently and consistently controls moisture.
